Cuba reaffirms commitment to strengthening relations with Sahrawi Republic

Havana (Cuba), February 27, 2026 (SPS) – Cuba has reiterated its will to strengthen its bilateral and fraternal relations with the Sahrawi Republic to higher levels, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic.

In a post on social media, the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its congratulations to the Sahrawi people and to the Polisario Front on the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic.

The Cuban Foreign Ministry also reaffirmed Cuba’s commitment and determination to continue and further enhance relations of cooperation and solidarity between the two brotherly countries and peoples.
