SPLA targets corps headquarters of Moroccan occupation forces in Guelta sector

Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), February 23, 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted the headquarters of a corps of to the Moroccan occupation army in the Guelta sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment.  

According to a military communiqué issued by the Ministry of National Defense, advanced SPLA units carried out a concentrated bombardment on Sunday evening targeting the headquarters of a corps of the Moroccan occupation army behind the Achark Sedra area in the Guelta sector.
