Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), February 13, 2026 (SPS) – The member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Prime Minister, Mr. Bushraya Hamoudi Beyoun, arrived today, Friday, in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, to represent the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, in the proceedings of the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union,
The summit is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Saturday. Its agenda includes discussing the general policies of the African Union and its initiatives aimed at promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development on the continent, in addition to reviewing the implementation of previous decisions and deliberating on a range of shared political, economic, and security challenges facing African countries.
Accompanying the Prime Minister during the two-day summit is a delegation that includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Affairs, Mohamed Yeslem Beissat; the Minister of Social Affairs and Women’s Promotion, Suilma Beirouk; the Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, Lamman Abaali; the Deputy Permanent Representative, Ambassador Maa El-Ainin Lakhal; and the Media and Cultural Attaché at the Sahrawi Embassy in Ethiopia, Argebi Abdallah.
