Shaheed El Hafed, 05 February 2026 (SPS) – The President of Algeria’s Future Front Party, Dr. Fateh Boutbiq, along with the accompanying delegation, was received Thursday at the headquarters of the Sahrawi National Council.
He was welcomed by the Vice President of the National Council, Mr. Abdellah Laman El-Merakhi, the President of the Sahrawi–Algerian Parliamentary Brotherhood and Friendship Committee, Mr. El Bachir Halla Ismail, and members of the Sahrawi legislative body.
During the visit, the party president was briefed on the functioning of the Sahrawi legislative institution and its role in structuring political life and organizing public affairs under refugee conditions. He also listened to explanations on the mechanisms of parliamentary work and its experience in keeping pace with developments in the Sahrawi cause, combining the struggle for liberation with the process of state-building.
On the occasion, Dr. Fateh Boutbiq affirmed that the resilience of Sahrawi institutions reflects the Sahrawi people’s commitment to building their state and consolidating its institutions despite challenges, reaffirming the Future Front Party’s solidarity with their legitimate right to self-determination, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions.
