Smara, 1 January 2026 (SPS) – The head of the Cuban educational mission working at Simon Bolivar School affirmed Wednesday that Simon Bolivar School in the wilaya of Smara, Sahrawi refugee camps, is considered an ideal model and symbol of cooperation between peoples, referring to the cooperation between the Sahrawi Republic, Venezuela, and Cuba in relation to the educational project at Simon Bolivar School.
She pointed out that speaking about cooperation and about the content of training and education in all educational and pedagogical fields aims to instill the values of dignity, cooperation, and liberation, adding that the mission is carrying out this task while at the same time learning from the Sahrawi experience.
She stressed that the Cuban educational mission will continue its work to ensure the success of the educational project and to achieve its goals.
It is worth recalling that the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training organized a ceremony on Wednesday on the occasion of its national day, attended by the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, accompanied by the member of the National Secretariat, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, along with partner bodies and institutions.
During the ceremony, President Brahim Ghali honored the Cuban educational mission working at Simon Bolivar School.
