Tifariti University, 04 December 2025 (SPS) – The Dean of Tifariti University, Mr. Moulay Mhamed Brahim, received an academic delegation from the Public University of the Basque Region, led by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Professor Joserra Díez, and his deputy.
The meeting was an opportunity to present detailed explanations about Tifariti University and the goals it seeks to achieve through its strategic plan for the coming years, including distance education, scientific research, international cooperation, and its network of international relations through agreements signed between Tifariti University and various international universities and research centers.
The Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of the Basque Region expressed his deep admiration for the Sahrawi experience in various fields of management and for the Sahrawi State’s commitment to education despite difficult conditions and limited resources. He also praised the spirit of solidarity and mutual support that unites the components of the Sahrawi people. The Dean affirmed his faculty’s readiness to strengthen relations and cooperation with Tifariti University in the field of teacher training and professional development to enhance and improve their skills.
He added, on behalf of the University of the Basque Region, that all preparations have been completed and the content of a cooperation agreement—set to be signed between Tifariti University and the University of the Basque Region in the coming days—has been approved.
