Munich (Germany), 30 November 2025 (SPS) – The German city of Munich hosted a political conference that brought together a group of activists, German supporters, and human rights defenders.
The conference was moderated by the Representative of the Polisario Front in Germany, Mr. Mohamed El-Mamoun Ahmed, in a meeting that reflected the growing public and human rights interest in Germany regarding the Sahrawi cause and its legal, human rights, and political dimensions.
Following the presentation made by the representative of the Polisario Front, the floor was opened for discussion, during which participants addressed the situation on the ground in Western Sahara, the violations affecting activists and human rights defenders, as well as the leading role of Sahrawi women in peaceful activism and civil resistance.
This conference was part of a series of events organized by solidarity groups in Germany over recent weeks with the aim of raising international awareness of the Sahrawi cause, shedding light on the political and resistance dimensions of the Sahrawi struggle, and reaffirming the need to uphold a just solution that guarantees the Sahrawi people their right to freedom and self-determination.
