Shaheed El Hafed, November 10, 2025 (SPS) – The Ministry of Public Health today organized a coordination and consultation meeting on the health sector at its headquarters.
The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Public Health, Salek Baba Hasana, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Salek Mohamed Omar; the Chairwoman of the National Council’s Social Committee, Ubeida Hadhia; representatives of supporting health organizations — including the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Asturias Cooperation Agency, Doctors of the World–Spain, UNICEF, the Balearic Islands, among others — as well as several central directors of the ministry and Sahrawi midwives.
The coordination and consultation meeting on reproductive health focused on discussing key topics in the field of reproductive health.
A comprehensive presentation was delivered by Khidouma Bilali, Head of the Central Department of Reproductive Health, highlighting the main achievements in improving services provided in reproductive health, the challenges faced across different areas of the department, and the importance of joint efforts among all partners to enhance the performance of programs aimed at strengthening the role of reproductive health.
