Wilaya of Boujdour, October 15, 2025 (SPS) – The Prime Minister and member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Buchraya Hamoudi Beyoun on Wednesday presided over the inauguration of a new Vocational Training Institute in wilaya of Boujdour.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Cooperation, member of the National Secretariat, Ms. Fatma El-Mehdi, the Deputy Minister for Vocational Training, Mr. Medi Hayaye, the local authorities of Boujdour, and several companies active in the vocational sector.
During a presentation on the new project, the Prime Minister called for ensuring all necessary conditions for students to pursue their studies in a suitable and motivating environment. He toured the center and received detailed explanations about the infrastructure, available resources, and main specializations offered—namely administration and electricity—which are aligned with the needs of the labor market.
The center, which will begin operations during the 2025–2026 training year, is funded by Spanish cooperation associations with the Sahrawi people and implemented by the organization of Mundubat.
In her remarks, Minister of Cooperation Fatma El-Mehdi praised the great attention the Sahrawi State gives to training and human resource development, emphasizing that investing in people is central to national progress and self-reliance.
