Tunis, October 9, 2025 (SPS) – The Sahrawi Republic participated in the evaluation meeting of the Saving Lives and Livelihoods (SLL) program organized by the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC).

The meeting, held in Tunis, focused on evaluating and analyzing the key challenges encountered during the first phase of the SLL program, with the aim of identifying appropriate solutions for the implementation of the program’s second phase, which is scheduled to take place in the upcoming period.

During the evaluation meeting, the implementation of the program in the Sahrawi Republic during its first phase, which began in early 2023, was commended — particularly in the areas of vaccination, health awareness, and community health.
