Mexico City, September 27, 2025 – Within the framework of the XXIX International Seminar "Parties and a New Society," the delegation of the POLISARIO Front has held various bilateral and multilateral meetings with allied parties and progressive and left-wing organizations from countries such as Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, among others.

During these exchanges, the Sahrawi delegation emphasized the urgent need for the full recognition of the inalienable right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and the recognition of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), in light of the Moroccan occupying state's persistent refusal to allow the holding of a self-determination referendum and its ongoing and systematic violations of International Humanitarian Law in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.

The parties also agreed to continue promoting networked efforts in key areas such as communication, visibility, awareness-raising, and political advocacy with governments, with the aim of maintaining and strengthening international support for the Sahrawi cause.

Representatives of the attending parties and organizations reiterated their firm commitment to the cause of the Sahrawi people, expressing their support for the legitimate resistance of the people of Western Sahara and for the POLISARIO Front as their sole and legitimate representative.

This seminar has once again reaffirmed the commitment of progressive forces in Latin America and the Caribbean to the just causes of peoples fighting for their freedom, sovereignty, and dignity.
