Moscow (Russia), September 05, 2025 (SPS) - The Polisario Front Representative in Russia, Dr. Ali Salem Mohamed Fadel, met with prominent Russian figures and foreign delegations present at the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japan and the end of World War II.
During the meeting, the Polisario Front Representative in Moscow briefed the Russian and foreign figures on the latest developments in the national cause, particularly focusing on the Moroccan occupation’s pursuit of a policy of escapism, its blatant defiance of international legitimacy, and its clear violations of the human rights of the Sahrawi people. He also highlighted the maneuvers and conspiracies employed by Morocco to improve its tarnished image, including bribing officials and espionage, which even its colonial ally France has not been spared from.
Those attending the meeting expressed their solidarity with the Sahrawi people in their just struggle for their right to self-determination and independence, which is guaranteed and protected by international law. Some also expressed astonishment at the international community’s submission and weakness in the face of the Moroccan occupation state’s rebellion against international legitimacy.
