Shaheed El Hafed, July 13, 2025 (SPS) - The National Secretariat of the Polisario Front has condemned Moroccan conspiracies targeting the legal status of the Sahrawi cause.

In a statement concluding its seventh ordinary session, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, President of the Republic, Mr. Brahim Ghali, the National Secretariat strongly denounced the Moroccan occupier's despicable conspiracies. These conspiracies aim to target the legal status of the just Sahrawi cause, attempting to falsely accuse the legitimate liberation struggle waged by the Sahrawi people for over five decades, and to distort its legitimate and sole representative, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Saguia el-Hamra and Rio de Oro (Polisario Front).

All of this, the statement says, is happening amidst a frantic campaign where the Moroccan occupation state relies on buying consciences, bribes, and recruiting paid lobbies. This is a desperate confrontation with the decisions and rulings of international and regional organizations and courts, which do not recognize any Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara.

In a related context, the National Secretariat extended a special greeting to the allies and friends of the Sahrawi people and members of the solidarity movement worldwide.

In this regard, the National Secretariat reiterated the Sahrawi people's full appreciation and gratitude to sisterly Algeria, its government and people, led by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. This is for its historic and principled stance supporting the just cause of our people, in line with the principles of its glorious revolution and its adherence to international and African legitimacy.

After commending the fraternal, friendly, neighborly, and shared destiny relations linking the two brotherly peoples in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the Sahrawi Republic, the National Secretariat expressed its great satisfaction with the level of consultation, cooperation, and coordination between the two countries at both the bilateral and continental levels.
