Shaheed El Hafed, July 13, 2025 (SPS) - The National Secretariat of the Polisario Front has expressed its condemnation of the stances of some countries based on the logic of bartering with the Moroccan occupation.
In a statement concluding the work of its seventh ordinary session, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, President of the Republic, Mr. Brahim Ghali, the National Secretariat strongly denounced the positions based on the logic of bartering with the Moroccan occupier taken by some governments. These positions support its aggressive, expansionist theses, in complete contradiction with the United Nations Charter and the principles of international law.
In this context, the National Secretariat reiterated its demand for France to review its shameful stance, which sponsors Moroccan expansionist policies that lead to instability and strain relations between the countries of the region.
It also called once again on the Spanish state, in its capacity as the administering power of the territory, to assume its historical, legal, and moral responsibility towards the Sahrawi people and towards the decolonization of Western Sahara.
The National Secretariat demanded that the United States of America government return to a position of neutrality so that it can contribute constructively to completing the decolonization of Western Sahara and support security and stability in the region, in line with its founding principles and international commitments.
