Maputo (Mozambique), June 26, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, was received Thursday by his Mozambican counterpart, Mr. Daniel Francisco Chapo, at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Maputo.
The meeting addressed the bilateral relations between the Sahrawi Republic and the sister Republic of Mozambique, as well as ways to strengthen them to meet the aspirations of the two peoples.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current state of these relations and discussed issues at the African Union level, given that the Sahrawi issue remains a matter of decolonization.
At the end of the meeting, the Sahrawi President presented his Mozambican counterpart with symbolic gifts.
