Shaheed El Hafed, September 5, 2026 (SPS) – Member of the National Secretariat, Prime Minister, Buchraya Hamoudi Beyoun, on Saturday chaired a government meeting devoted to reviewing and disseminating the outcomes of the 10th session of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, held on September 3–4.
The meeting also addressed issues related to government performance in preparation for the start of the new social year.
The meeting provided an opportunity to follow up on and assess several programmes implemented during the summer holidays, including the Summer University, the Vacations in Peace programme, and several other programmes.
In a statement to the Sahrawi Press Agency (SPS), Secretary-General of the Government Salama Ibrahim Al-Bashir said that the 10th ordinary session of the National Secretariat was held amid highly complex international and regional circumstances, requiring the entire Sahrawi people to remain mobilized and fully prepared to confront the risks facing them.
He pointed out that Saturday's government meeting, chaired by Member of the National Secretariat, Prime Minister, Buchraya Hamoudi Beyoun, comes within the framework of discussing the most pressing current issues and disseminating the outcomes of the 10th National Secretariat session so that they reach all segments and extensions of the Sahrawi people.
The Secretary-General of the Government added that disseminating the outcomes of the 10th National Secretariat session conveys a message to all Sahrawi men and women, wherever they may be, to strengthen national unity, consolidate steadfastness and rally around the Polisario Front.
He stressed that, after 50 years of resistance, the Sahrawi people remain committed to their sole choice of exercising its right to self-determination and independence.
