Italian radio stations to broadcast Free Sahara news program

Shaheed El Hafed, August 15, 2026 (SPS) – New radio stations in Italy will begin broadcasting the news program Free Sahara, with the aim of bringing the reality of the Sahrawi people closer to the Italian public.

The program is currently broadcast from the city of Florence, but it is undergoing an expansion phase, with additional stations affiliated with the Italian national network expected to join the broadcast starting next September.

The program is aired monthly, on the first Friday of each month, and is jointly coordinated by an Italian media group.

Most of its audience also follows the program online, either live or via podcast, enabling it to reach listeners across Italy.
