Nairobi (Kenya), July 7, 2026 (SPS) – The accredited Sahrawi Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya, Mohamed Limam Mohamed Ali Sid El Bashir, participated on Monday in the official celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the Kenya School of Government (KSG).

The event was inaugurated by Kenyan President William Ruto and attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Nairobi, as well as government officials and academic figures.

The Kenya School of Government is commemorating its centenary from July 6 to 10, 2026. The institution traces its origins to the Jeanes School, established in 1926, before evolving into Kenya's leading national institution dedicated to the training and development of senior public administration officials, policymakers, and government leaders.

The opening ceremony, held at the institution's main campus in Lower Kabete, Nairobi, provided an opportunity to review the school's historical development and its contribution to building Kenya's public administration. It also marked the launch of the official centenary program, which includes a series of high-level seminars and dialogues on governance, public sector reform, and leadership.

The participation of the Sahrawi Embassy in this event reflects its ongoing engagement in official activities organized by the Republic of Kenya and its commitment to strengthening cooperation and communication with various national and regional institutions, thereby fostering the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Sahrawi Republic and the Republic of Kenya.
