Shaheed El Hafed, 21 June 2026 (SPS) – The National Council of the General Union of Workers of Saguia el-Hamra and Río de Oro (UGTSARIO) held its ordinary session on Sunday under the chairmanship of the Union’s Secretary-General, Nafei Ahmed Mohamed.
The session examined a comprehensive evaluation of the second half of the year, reviewing the outcomes of activities and programs implemented during the assessment period, as well as evaluating the level of implementation of decisions and recommendations issued by the Union’s leadership bodies.
Participants also listened to a presentation by the Committee on Structures and Regulations, which addressed the current state of the Union’s organizational structures and prospects for their development. The committee further discussed proposals concerning newly established structures aimed at improving organizational performance and enhancing the effectiveness of trade union work.
The session concluded with a set of recommendations and decisions intended to strengthen organizational work and further develop the Union’s performance in a manner that responds to the requirements and challenges of the current stage.
