Smara Wilaya, May 18, 2026 (SPS) – Member of the National Secretariat, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, officially launched Sunday the Primary Education Certificate examinations from the wilaya of Smara.
The event was attended by members of the ministry’s central administration, local authorities, the regional director of education and vocational training, as well as representatives of the Parents’ Association.
The official launch took place at the first examination center, the Martyr Ibrahim Mohamed Ahmed School in the wilaya of Smara, in an atmosphere marked by strong organization and favorable educational conditions.
On the first day, students sat for examinations in Mathematics and Islamic Education, in accordance with the examination schedule approved by the ministry.
The minister conducted an inspection tour inside the examination center, during which he reviewed the conditions under which the exams were being held and listened to explanations regarding the various educational and organizational measures adopted to ensure the success of the examinations and provide suitable conditions for candidates.
The examinations were conducted in an atmosphere characterized by seriousness, discipline, and efficient organization, amid efforts to provide all the human and logistical resources necessary to ensure the success of this important educational milestone.
