President of Republic oversees farewell ceremony for pilgrims heading to holy sites

Shaheed El Hafed, May 7, 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, oversaw the farewell ceremony for the Sahrawi pilgrims departing for the holy sites, at the Presidency of the Republic.

In his address to the Sahrawi pilgrims, the President of the Republic called on them to represent the Sahrawi people in the best possible way among the pilgrims coming from different parts of the world, urging them to keep the cause of their people in mind.

The President also called on the members of the Hajj delegation to pray and supplicate to God for victory and empowerment for the Sahrawi people.
