Val-de-Marne (France), April 14, 2026 (SPS) – The Young Communists of Val-de-Marne, France, have reaffirmed their solidarity with the Sahrawi people on the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR).
They called on their country to officially recognize the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, emphasizing the importance of respecting international law and United Nations resolutions related to Western Sahara.
In a message posted on social media, in which members of the organization posed with the Sahrawi flag, the youth organization praised the Sahrawi people's struggle for self-determination and independence, and expressed their unwavering support for its cause.
This initiative by the French Young Communists is part of numerous solidarity actions organized worldwide to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the SADR.
