Wilaya of Dakhla, April 1, 2026 (SPS) – An Algerian solidarity convoy, provided by the authorities of Béchar Province, arrived today, Wednesday, in Dakhla Province.
The convoy is intended for those affected by the heavy rainfall that recently hit the wilaya of Dakhla and included tons of food supplies, medical medicines, and mattresses.
The solidarity convoy was handed over in the presence of the Minister of the Interior, Ibrahim Billa, and the Governor of the wilaya of Dakhla, Mohamed Cheikh Mohamed Lahbib.
The Minister of the Interior praised the initiative, considering it an expression of Algeria’s absolute solidarity with the Sahrawi people, and commended Algeria’s firm position on the Sahrawi cause.
The Governor of the wilaya of Dakhla, Mohamed Cheikh Mohamed Lahbib, also praised the initiative, which reflects Algeria’s steadfast support for the Sahrawis, especially in these circumstances. He expressed his thanks, on behalf of the wilaya authorities and the population, to the authorities of Béchar Province.
