New Minister of Trade assumes his duties

Shaheed El-Hafed, 25 March 2026 (SPS) – Salek Laabid officially assumed his duties as Minister of Trade, succeeding Ahmed Bashir Ami Omar, who was appointed Minister of Water and Environment.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister, member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Bouchraya Hammoudi Bayoun.

This appointment comes in implementation of the presidential decree issued by the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, through which he carried out a partial reshuffle at the level of some government sectors.
