Shaheed El Hafed, March 17, 2026 (SPS) – The Prime Minister, member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Bouchraya Hammoudi Bayoun, chaired a government meeting dedicated to examining plans and measures aimed at ensuring the supply of water to citizens.
In a statement to the media, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Water and Environment, Salama Mohamed Youssef, indicated that the meeting discussed the procedures and measures necessary to guarantee citizens’ access to drinking water, especially in light of the transfer of support directed to this sector.
He added that the government, through the supervising ministry, has adopted a set of measures to ensure the provision of water to citizens, calling on them to cooperate with the authorities in order to rationalize the use of this vital resource.
