Shaheed El Hafed, March 9, 2026 (SPS) – The Ministry of Interior organized an open day on Monday, during which it highlighted the main tasks and powers carried out by the ministry in promoting public administration and maintaining public order.
The event, held as part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic, and aimed at showcasing the institutional development of the Sahrawi State amid the dual struggle of liberation and state-building, was attended by members of the National Secretariat and the government, as well as officials from the Ministry of Interior.
During the open day, the ministry presented the various responsibilities it undertakes to enhance administrative services for citizens, ranging from census operations and the issuance of passports to the efforts and plans implemented to ensure security and stability for citizens.
The open day also served as an opportunity to highlight the vital roles played by the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with its partners, in improving public administration and bringing services closer to citizens, in addition to ensuring security and stability across various institutions and administrative units and protecting public property.
