Shaheed El Hafed, February 16, 2026 (SPS) – The headquarters of the National Council hosted today, Monday, the presentation of the book “Western Sahara: A State and a Colony” by its authors: German Dr. Manfred Hinz, Professor of Public Law at the University of Bremen, Germany; Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Sid Ali, Legal Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic; and Ms. Ama Lahbib, Sahrawi activist in Germany.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the Member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, Mr. Hamma Salama; the President of the Constitutional Council, Mr. Mohamed Bouzid; as well as members of the government, the National Council, and representatives of various national institutions.
The book includes information and analysis on the development of the legal institutions of the Sahrawi State.
It also represents a valuable addition to the legal field for those interested in legal and institutional studies and research concerning the Sahrawi State.
