Shaheed El Hafed, 6 February 2026 (SPS) – The Secretary General of the National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW), Ms. Chaba Seini, sent a congratulatory message to Ms. Halima Lakhal on the occasion of her endorsement as the new Secretary General of the National Union of Algerian Women.
In her message, Chaba Seini stated: “Your selection for this position reflects your pioneering and militant role and your standing in continuing the path of defending the rights of Algerian women and strengthening their contributions to building society, in loyalty to the honorable history of Algerian women and their great sacrifices.”
Ms. Chaba Seini also expressed to her Algerian counterpart her desire to deepen the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity that unite the two unions, affirming her constant readiness to strengthen relations of joint cooperation in the service of women’s causes and the struggles of peoples for freedom and dignity.
