Shaheed El-Hafed, January 19, 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, chaired on Monday an expanded meeting of officials from the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi State, which addressed the government program for the year 2026 recently approved by the Sahrawi National Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Republic stressed that this program comes at a sensitive time for the Sahrawi cause, which requires cooperation and coordination in order to ensure its success.
The President of the Republic called for close attention to the stages of the government program, for their implementation, and for addressing any shortcomings, each from their respective position of responsibility, at the level of the various locations where Sahrawi citizens reside.
In conclusion, the President of the Republic affirmed that the dignity and freedom of the Sahrawi people remain the position upon which reliance is placed until victory is achieved, and that the decisive factor in the struggle is the Sahrawi people and the steadfastness of allies’ positions despite the difficult circumstances.
