Tifariti University, January 17, 2026 (SPS) – Member of the National Secretariat, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, received a Spanish delegation representing the association Sahara Mágica, which is active in the field of educational and recreational activities.
The Minister briefed the delegation on the plans and programs of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, through which it seeks to develop and improve educational performance in order to achieve better academic outcomes. These include recreational and cultural activities organized by the ministry through school sports programs and clubs of all kinds—sports, cultural, environmental, and others.
The Minister praised the work carried out by this Spanish organization since 2008, which falls within the framework of solidarity with and support for the Sahrawi people, as well as raising awareness about their struggle through recreational activities conducted for the benefit of children in various educational institutions. He also expressed the ministry’s readiness to provide and ensure the appropriate conditions for the success of their program.
For her part, the head of the Spanish delegation expressed her appreciation for the positive response from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and affirmed her willingness to further develop educational and recreational programs for the benefit of children in the future.
