Student group detainees launch warning hunger strike

Marrakech (Morocco), 13 January 2026 (SPS) – The student group detainees have begun a 48-hour warning hunger strike, according to the League for the Protection of Sahrawi Prisoners in Moroccan Prisons.

According to the same source, the hunger strike, initiated by Abdelmoula Mohamed El Hafed, El Hussein Brahim Amador, and El-Berr El-Kentawi, comes in denunciation and protest against the arbitrary and discriminatory measures taken against them during their transfer from the local prison of Bouzkarn to the prisons of Safi and Loudaya in Marrakech.
