Shaheed El-Hafed, 16 December 2025 (SPS) – The Sahrawi National Council held a plenary session today, Tuesday, chaired by the member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, Mr. Hamma Salama, with the attendance of members of both the legislative and executive branches.
The session was devoted to hearing the government’s responses to the specialized committee reports and the questions raised by deputies, following the expiration of the 48-hour period granted by the organic law regulating the functional relationship between the National Council and the government, during which the latter prepares its replies to the questions and concerns expressed by members of the National Council.
During the session, ministers of the social sector addressed the various concerns and inquiries submitted in previous sessions by deputies in the fields of health, education, vocational training, social affairs, and traditional education.
The National Council continues the sessions of its autumn sitting devoted to evaluating the Government Program for the year 2025.
