Algiers, 13 December 2025 (SPS) — Mr. Nader El-Qaisi, representative of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Algeria, reaffirmed the Front’s steadfast solidarity and support for the struggle of the Sahrawi people, considering that the struggles of the Palestinian and Sahrawi peoples are a shared struggle for freedom, independence, and self-determination.
This came during a political coference held in Algiers on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the founding of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, attended by the Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to Algeria, Mr. Khatri Adouh, accompanied by Mr. Khalil Mayara, adviser in charge of political parties and civil society, as well as representatives of political parties and Algerian civil society organizations.
For his part, the Ambassador of our country to Algeria, Mr. Khatri Adouh, highlighted the depth and long-standing nature of the relations between the Polisario Front and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, recalling the historic meeting in Beirut between the founder of the Polisario Front, the late martyr El-Ouali Mustapha Sayed, and the Palestinian leader George Habash.
He added that the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine has represented a renewed spirit and a fundamental qualitative contribution to the continuation of the Palestinian resistance, reaffirming the absolute solidarity of the Sahrawi people with the Palestinian people, and considering it a decisive battle against a common enemy.
