Shaheed El Hafed, 21 November 2025 (SPS) – International delegations will begin next week a working visit to the Sahrawi refugee camps, during which they will hold several meetings, according to a source from the National Directorate of Protocol.
The visit concerns delegations from the Spanish region of Andalusia, Portugal, and Brazil. These delegations are composed of parliamentarians, lawyers, and solidarity activists.
During their visit, the delegations will be briefed on the latest developments regarding the Sahrawi cause, the situation of the Sahrawi refugees, and the functioning of the institutions of the Sahrawi state. They will also hold numerous meetings with Sahrawi officials.
According to the visit agenda, the delegations will carry out field visits to several regional facilities in the wilayas of Auserd, Smara, and Boujdour. They will also conduct field visits to the National Resistance Museum, the headquarters of the Sahrawi Red Crescent, and disability schools.
They will hold meetings with officials of the state and the Polisario Front, including the Prime Minister, the President of the Sahrawi Red Crescent, the Minister of Social Affairs and the Advancement of Women, and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The delegations will also participate in the proceedings of the 10th Congress of the Sahrawi Youth Union (UJSARIO).
This visit comes as a reaffirmation of support during a period marked by significant and important developments in the Sahrawi cause at all levels, especially following the issuance of UN Security Council Resolution 2797 (2025).
