Ait Melloul, 20 November 2025 (SPS) – The Sahrawi civilian prisoner from the Gdeim Izik group, Brahim Dadi El-Ismaïli, has been subjected to deliberate medical negligence and the denial of his right to proper medical care and treatment.
In a statement from El-Ismaïli’s family, reviewed by the Sahrawi Prisoners Protection League regarding updates on his health condition, it was reported that the administration of Ait Melloul 2 local prison deliberately ignored the scheduled medical appointments and refrained from transferring Brahim Dadi El-Ismaïli to a hospital outside the prison to undergo specialized bone examinations under the supervision of a specialist doctor. These examinations are necessary to properly diagnose his condition and provide the required treatment.
