Algiers, November 13, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, reaffirmed his country’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Sahrawi people and their legitimate right to self-determination and independence.
In a reply letter sent to the President of the Sahrawi Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, in response to the congratulatory message he had received from President Ghali on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the November 1st Revolution, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune reiterated Algeria’s firm and principled position in supporting the brotherly Sahrawi people in their legitimate struggle for self-determination, in accordance with international legality and relevant United Nations resolutions.
The Algerian President also praised the historic relations and strong ties that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples.
