Vienna (Austria), 3 November 2025 (SPS) – The Ninth European Forum reaffirmed the Sahrawi people's right to self-determination and independence.
In its final statement, the European Forum reiterated its support for the just Sahrawi cause, considering it a decolonization issue and affirming the Sahrawi people's inalienable right to self-determination.
The forum’s final communiqué called for enabling the Sahrawi people to exercise this right through a fair, free, transparent, and democratic referendum.
While reviewing the recent trade agreement between the European Union and Morocco, the forum stressed the illegality of the agreement and condemned it as a renewed attempt to circumvent the rulings of the European Court of Justice.
The Polisario Front representative to Austria, Ambassador Mohamed Salama Badi, participated in the forum.
