Wilaya of Auserd, October 13, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic and Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, inaugurated this Sunday the memorial commemorating the 50th anniversary of the National Unity Day.
The memorial takes the form of a traditional Sahrawi tent, complete with all its customary elements, symbolizing the traditions and authenticity of the Sahrawi people.
It also represents the very tent that hosted the Sahrawi fathers who signed the Ain Bentili Declaration — the historic moment that embodied the unity of the Sahrawi people under the banner of the Polisario Front.
It is worth noting that the inauguration ceremony was attended by members of the National Secretariat and the government, as well as a delegation from the sisterly state of Algeria.
