Shaheed Hafed, October 7, 2025 (SPS) - The 2025/2026 academic year was officially launched Tuesday at the Simón Bolívar National Middle and Secondary School.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Mustapha Mohamed Fadel, along with central officials from the Ministry, the school administration, and the Cuban Mission.
The Secretary-General of the Ministry assessed the general conditions for schooling, including classrooms, educational materials, and the pupils' boarding facilities.
While overseeing the inauguration, he emphasized the necessity of ensuring good academic achievement, proper conduct, and adherence to the procedures and regulations governing the institution's operations, with no leniency in their application. He also stressed the importance of maintaining the resources provided by the Sahrawi State to this model educational institution.
