Shaheed El-Hafed, September 19, 2025 (SPS) - The National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW) praised the steadfast positions of the Ghana Socialist Movement towards the Sahrawi people and their just cause.
In a thank-you message sent by NUSW's General Secretary, Shaba Seiny, to the Movement's President, Kwesi Pratt Jnr., the Union expressed its gratitude to the militants of the Ghana Socialist Movement for their firm and supportive stance towards our people's just cause.
Shaba Seiny commended the role played by the Ghana Socialist Movement in providing continuous support to Sahrawi women and youth.
She also praised the work carried out by the Movement through capacity-building programs at the Amilcar Cabral School, which have benefited 18 of Sahrawi young people, both women and men, from 2013 to 2025. This has contributed to enhancing the leadership competencies of the rising generations in the Sahrawi refugee camps.
Shaba Seiny expressed her pride in the relationship between NUSW and the Socialist Movement in Ghana, emphasizing that the joint struggle will remain a bridge to promote the values of freedom, justice, and the rights of peoples.
