Shaheed El Hafed, September 07, 2025 (SPS) - Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, a member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, held today, Sunday, a meeting with supporting international organizations in preparation for the 2025/2026 school year.
The meeting, which took place at the ministry's headquarters in the presence of the President of the Sahrawi Red Crescent, Bouhabini Yahya, began with a speech by the Minister of Education and Vocational Training. He thanked the partners for their work and contributions in supporting the Sahrawi educational system amidst the reality of displacement. He called for mobilization and concerted efforts to address the challenges arising from the reduction in support, which has affected several essential aspects, with a focus on ensuring and improving incentives, in addition to school feeding and other areas.
Through an intervention by its President, the Sahrawi Red Crescent expressed its readiness to mobilize all its resources to help mitigate the effects of this reduction.
Representatives of the supporting organizations also expressed their commitment to continue working with the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training to ensure suitable conditions and an environment conducive to schooling.
