Shaheed El-Hafed, September 2, 2025 (SPS) - The Prime Minister, a member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Bouchraya Hammoudi Bayoun, chaired a government meeting today, Tuesday, dedicated to the topic of African trade.
In a statement to the media, the Minister of Trade, Mr. Ahmed Becher Ami Omar, indicated that the meeting of the government team, chaired by the Prime Minister, aims to study the topic of African trade. This involves reviewing some files that were under study and analysis, and finalizing the contents of these files.
Additionally, necessary amendments will be made to finalize the files and submit them to the General Secretariat of the African Trade Organization.
The Minister of Trade noted that the team responsible for following up on the African trade file is a comprehensive team, reflecting the constructive contribution to this important continental file.
