Kampala (Uganda), August 28, 2025 (SPS) - The President of the National Council, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario of the Polisarrio Front, Mr. Hamma Salama, who is representing the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, the President of the Republic, Mr. Brahim Ghali, at the congress of the Ugandan National Resistance Movement, met with participating party leaders at the congress.
Mr. Hamma Salama held bilateral meetings with delegations and party leaders attending the congress, including the Secretary-General of South Africa's ANC, Kenya's UDA, Rwanda's RPF, Burundi's CNDD–FDD, South Sudan's SPLM, Venezuela's PSUV, as well as officials and members of the Ugandan government.
During the meetings, Mr. Hamma Salama briefed his hosts on the latest developments in the Sahrawi cause and the legitimate struggle being waged by the Sahrawi people under the leadership of the Polisario Front.
The meetings emphasized the importance of relations with the Polisario Front and the necessity of intensifying joint political work in the international arena at the party, parliamentary, and popular levels.
