Sahrawi Republic takes part in Nigeria in meeting on primary healthcare and community health

Abuja (Nigeria), August 5, 2025 (SPS) – The Sahrawi Republic is participating in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, in a meeting on primary healthcare and community health.

The meeting seeks to outline pathways and key milestones for community health in Africa, addressing major challenges presented by member states in developing health programs. It will also review the status of community health workers and the strategies adopted by health authorities across African countries, as well as ways to enhance coordination and alignment among stakeholders to establish an effective, inclusive, and sustainable community health system throughout Africa.

Representing the Sahrawi Republic at this meeting is a delegation from the Ministry of Public Health, including Dumaha Mohamed M'Barek, Central Director of Medical Care, Hayaye Ahmed Baba Hayaye, Director of Media and Awareness.
