Boumerdès, August 3, 2025 (SPS) – The Prime Minister, member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Bouchraya Hammoudi Bayoun, stressed that the Sahrawi people will not retreat a single inch in their pursuit of freedom, independence, and the establishment of their state across the entire territory of the Sahrawi Republic.

In his speech during the opening of the 13th Summer University for Sahrawi Executives, the Prime Minister stated that the Sahrawi people—whether in refugee camps, diaspora communities, occupied territories, or on the frontlines—are preparing to commemorate the 50th anniversary of National Unity. This occasion reaffirms their unwavering commitment to the goals they declared from the outset: to reclaim their freedom through self-reliance, bolstered by the justice of their cause and the support of allies worldwide, foremost among them Algeria.

He praised Algeria's steadfastness, rooted in its glorious liberation history, enduring principles, and the values of its free people, who have never abandoned the Sahrawi cause throughout half a century of legitimate struggle. Algeria, he noted, has supported just causes across the globe—how could it not stand with a neighboring, brotherly, Arab, Muslim, and militant people who share history, culture, and a common destiny?

On this occasion, the Prime Minister renewed the Sahrawi people's pledge to Algeria, its government, and its people: "We will remain faithful to our covenant, preserving the noble legacy of Algeria’s generosity—out of loyalty and reverence for the martyrs of our two peoples and revolutions—until decisive victory is achieved. We will build a free, independent Sahrawi state that fulfills its responsibilities in constructing its society, actively contributes to Africa’s progress, and helps create a fairer world where the will of peoples is respected and their interests realized."
