NUSW Secretary-General meets with president of Spanish Federation of Institutions in Solidarity with Sahrawi People

Las Palmas (Canary Islands), July 24, 2025 (SPS) – The Secretary-General of the National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW), Shaba Seiny, held a meeting with Carmelo Ramírez, President of the Federation of Spanish Institutions in Solidarity with the Sahrawi People.

The discussions centered on the pivotal role of Sahrawi women in institutional development. The Secretary-General highlighted the prominent position women hold in the organizational structure of Sahrawi state institutions.

It was emphasized that Sahrawi women have been key actors in the struggle for liberation and nation-building, as well as in decision-making within the bodies of the Polisario Front and the institutions of the Sahrawi state.
