
National Council, June 28 (SPS) – The National Council concluded its spring session today, Saturday, at its headquarters in a public session chaired by Mr. Hamma Salama, member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mr. Bouchraya Hammoudi Beyoun, along with members of the National Council and the government.
Mr. Hamma Salama, President of the National Council, affirmed that the conclusion of the session comes after two months of legislative and oversight work, including the presentation of several significant draft laws submitted by the government, in addition to a proposed amendment to the Council’s internal regulations.
The spring session was marked by the review and approval of a number of draft laws.
During the closing proceedings, the President of the National Council emphasized the importance of ratifying these laws, considering it a reinforcement of the legislative role played by the Council in regulating government work.
Notably, the laws addressed during this session directly impact daily operations and the rights of individuals and employees, such as laws concerning civil service, public employment, legal status of employees, and aspects related to grievances, petitions, and grievance committees.
