Algiers, June 10, 2025 (SPS) – Mr. Khatri Adouh, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Sahrawi Ambassador to Algeria, affirmed in a statement to Algeria International channel that the Sahrawi people are determined to continue their resistance until independence is achieved.
During his remarks, Ambassador Khatri Adouh emphasized that the international community recognizes the Sahrawi people's right to self-determination. He also warned that the Moroccan occupation's stance is pushing the region back into instability, holding it fully responsible for the consequences.
He emphasized that Algeria's support for the Sahrawi cause stems from its commitment to international legitimacy and its defense of just causes.
The Sahrawi Ambassador pointed out that Western Sahara is currently in a state of war as Morocco, through its positions, has squandered the opportunity for peace—both for itself and the entire region.
In closing, the Ambassador stressed that the Sahrawi issue will only be resolved by granting the Sahrawi people their full rights.
