Shaheed El Hafed, May 12, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, reiterated his country's steadfast support for the Sahrawi people and their just cause, emphasizing Algeria's continued advocacy for the Sahrawi issue at both international and continental levels.
This came in a congratulatory message sent by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the founding of the Polisario Front.
President Tebboune stated, "Algeria will continue, as it has since the establishment of the Polisario Front on May 10, 1973, to uphold its principled support for your just cause at all international and continental levels, enabling the Sahrawi people to achieve their independence and exercise sovereignty over their entire national territory."
The Algerian President added that the Polisario Front, through its unwavering positions and determination to defend the rights of the Sahrawi people in their struggle to reclaim their freedom and sovereignty, sets a powerful example of legitimate resistance to realize the aspirations of the brotherly Sahrawi people.
President Abdelmadjid Tebboune extended his congratulations to President Brahim Ghali, and through him, to the leadership of the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi people.
