
Pretoria (South Africa), 05 May 2025 (SPS) – South African President H.E. Cyril Ramaphosa received today, Monday, Mohamed Yeslem Beissat, who paid him a farewell visit upon the completion of his duties as Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to South Africa.
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
President Ramaphosa wished the Minister success in his new responsibilities, reiterating his solidarity with the struggle of the Sahrawi people.
For his part, the Minister expressed his deep gratitude to the South African President for the unwavering support and solidarity he received from him, his government, and South African institutions during his tenure. He reaffirmed the Sahrawi people’s appreciation for the principled and steadfast positions of the President, government, and people of South Africa in unwavering support of the Sahrawi people’s just struggle for full sovereignty and national independence.
